Post School Massacre, Americans Still Blame Islamic Boogeyman
Domestic Terrorism not a Concern for War on Terror

(KB) Hartford - As the nation mourns from coast to coast - following two unrelated outbreaks of gun violence taking thirty lives - people are asking why, again, for the fortieth time in a decade.  Despite massive unconstitutional efforts such as the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Department to tap phones, arrest tanned people and molest everyone at the airport, violence continues to ravage the country, month by month, year by year.
"This isn't terrorism," says bureaucrat Finny McFlourideface.  "Terrorism is the product of third world evil-doing towel-heads, who take control of an aircraft of some sort.  What we saw today was simply a young man exercising his second amendment rights in order to murder 27 people. What's so wrong about that?"

Study: Web Comments on News Articles Mean Absolutely Nothing

WASHINGTON (KB) -- A new study released by the University of Shit at Dover shows that user comments on internet news sites make no real actual change in geopolitics, public opinion, nor reality.  According to the study, 100% of comments go unseen, unnoticed and ungiven-a-fuck-about.

"I used to get a laugh when I read comments on various news articles," says Peter Donnepockets, a frequent web-user from Isle of Wight.  "But now I don't read anything at all."

The current administration has been hard at work trying to make public influence a more profitable asset; however, public opinion has consistently failed to portray news in a positive light.

"It's almost as if they don't read the articles," says President Barack Waste-of-time Obama, "like they don't want to hear our delicately manufactured lies.  It's a real eye-opener for me."

In the meantime, prominent news-sites have vowed to cancel any commentary on further articles in an effort to curb negative reaction to positive reports of progress progress progress

THIS IS AN UPDATE

This is an update.  The photo above was taken in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  It is a scrappy border town on Hari Raya holiday.  The city center has been evacuated for the suburbs, leaving only a dazed mass of Bangladeshi migrant workers with nothing to do.  Gathered around the central bus stop, the horde of men stare at passers by and shift around on their stoops.  Nothing in their hands, they look useless and bored.  Nothing in their immediate future, they look agitated and confused.
Here, we see a slight mockery as the local Chinese burn their dragon idols and carve up a roasted pig in the immediate presence of prophet Mohommad's fasting children.

SINGAPURA

Go to the park
and drink some beer
it's the sane thing
to do here
in Singapore

Like a Californian
suburb
without the mexicans
indonesians instead

very sterile
very white
very passive in the fight
against technological
automation consuming us all

a population born and bred
to constitute the NEW WORLD ORDER

25,000 miles away
the American culture
is being torn to shreds

and we will now destroy
everything in this world
that was born from our heads

say goodbye, my friend
because
the age of the aquarius is nigh
and this is your last
stressful, bitter, whiskeyed
sigh

DEFEAT

Had the chance
It was flashing in your eye
like a shiny coin
on the wet floor
in Kizilay

The hotel man
you never knew his name
his derelict past was your future plan

Until the turks took you down
and
a fisher pulled you up

so you went flapping down the pavement

and your spirit was finally sucked out
completely

you had touched the MarMara Sea
And felt the cold of what could have been
by then too late though
the river had run
and you have been tied
around the great
equator
forever

PORK RICE

guy on a plane
throwing a fit
there are peaches
in the garden
and he can't get his

guy goes to Thailand
picks up a hot one
pukes in a public toilet
feels the burn
teeth don't bite
for the rest of his life
his brain is a worm
for the rest of his life
eating his thoughts
for the rest of his life
never sees the beauty
of a woman
no way no how
for the rest of his life
While he drools out his heart
for the rest of this life

that was a bad plate of pork rice
he ate in Chiang Mai
for the rest of his life

BK HOUSE

weary traveler
orders a thai plate
of fried chicken and salad

weary traveler
looking like chris
McCandless
in the final stage of fate

weary traveler
got a brown girl
so general of brown
would be from any
equatorial race
or one of the ten million islands

indonesian face

weary traveler
got yourself a book

listening to the beach boys
while you cut the meat
the chicken from the bone

so hungry
you eat with her in silence
for the beach boys blaring in your ear

cuts the meat
from the bone
the tastiest meat
you ever known

die, die
must try

die, die
must try

die, die
must try

MINNESOTA

The seasons are quite drastic there
it's very enjoyable to see and to feel
the changes

i lived in a basement for a while
i don't even recall for how long
but it was definitely through a winter
i had one small window over my head
it was usually covered by snow
letting just a soft
white light
in

the colors are fantastic
around fall
really, they are
phenomenal
good beer drinking weather

It's a good place to drink beer
everybody does it
drinking beer outside
in minnesota
feels quite good

or even from a bar
like the gopher
or skinners
where you have a window outside
to the color
but you're probably not gonna leave
til the night
but
even then
there's color

the summers are hot though
good for fourth of july parties on the banks
of the saint croix

music and such
things

In chinese, Chun Tian means spring
Tian means sky
which is very Chun,
apparently

the snow is melting down the streets
channeling down Ohio
flooding the mississippi
birds and things
rain
also a change in attitude
the snow is gone
go to Paul's painting studio perhaps
color
color
color

people outside
mexicans
the bars are all naked
on the outside
in new world light
and
reek of winter on the inside
and I walk
i walked so much
down the high bridge
up the wabasha one
all the way to midway
they were tearing up university
to put in trains
usually I had no money
but i could smell the food
everywhere
and maybe Paul would pick me up
at some random intersection

MUNICIPAL

The Minneapolis skyline scoffs indignantly at its new neighbors
Bureaucratic Error Builds Nuclear Power Station Instead of Football Stadium Governor Dayton still doesn't know where he is
(KB)  MINNEAPOLIS - A major gaffe which occurred somewhere in the conduit between the state chambers and Hennepin County has left the city of Minneapolis with a 7,400 percent energy surplus.
"But where will the Vikings play?" asks Ron Schlop, showing up in a team jersey and with a package of wieners.  "As a taxpayer, this really ticks me off.  I mean, we paid for a stadium, not this smoldering pile of crap."
Governor Dayton was also at the site today, apparently waiting for the game to begin.   He had a cup of beer and a foam finger to cheer on his hometown team.  "Isn't it wonderful?" he said, "Just a beautiful facility here.  Bang-up job.  Just beautiful.  GO VIKES!"
State Comptroller, Nancy Titt, places blame on Hennepin County officials.   "The money was allocated and passed the legislature and signed as a bill.  That money was then transferred to the proper county officials and subsequently released from our control yet still mandated for public use.  Whatever facility the city has constructed remains completely outside of our responsibility.  Besides, Russ Brandt is a lying, dirty, lecherous slimeball!"
The Minnesota Vikings are a National Football League franchise that hasn't won a game since November 27, 1994 when they outed Tampa Bay 2 - 0.

WEATHER

Have you heard? Reconquista sandwiches today.  I'm chaining up the troika.  The sky has shifted, it faces you now.  No time for mythology no time for relationships.  The sky  has shifted it's calling you now.  Best get out before you become one of them.  Looking around you wonder where you went.  Standing over the traces of an argument, you feel so hopeful at sunset. You're in the shadow of a five-year affair.
Once on the road someone calls out your name.  You pull over and take a piss but never turn your head.  You're way out near the prison  in nowhere, Nevada.   Welcome home, Jack.  May the desert lash your back.  May the flying creatures shit upon you.  May you rest on the sagebrush while the ancient sage of chinese thought sages you with his slutty repertoire of one-liners.   Welcome back, Jack.  Suck on some earth.  Suck water out of a rock.  May you call out from the plains, from a landscape in pain, from that great insurmountable pressure of emptiness.

LOSERVILLE

Vikings' Head Coach Leslie Frazier Actually Just Listening to Justin Bieber

After a Litany Questionable Calls on the Field,  Team Discovers That Coach is Deep in the Throes of Bieber Fever

(KB) GREEN BAY - It was another crushing loss for the Vikings last night at Lambeau Field, putting up only 7 points to the Packers' 114.   Despite the team's mounting problems of ineptitude on both sides of the ball, laziness, penalty infractions, their very future in question and the arrest of seven of it's players for being degenerate neanderthals, an even newer concern arose on the sidelines last night in Green Bay:  Head Coach Leslie Frazier's headset is not linked to his coaching network, but in fact a live stream of Justin Bieber.
"When he told me we were gonna punt the ball in the last 20 seconds of the first half,  I just knew his head was in the clouds again,"  says quarterback Christian Ponder.  "I mean, punt the ball with 20 seconds left?  Are you fucking stupid?"
He's stupid alright, Christian.  Crazy stupid for boy-wonder shiny pants.

COMMERCE

Despite Economic "recession", Americans continue to Spend Shit-Tons of Money on Worthless Crap
New cars, techie gadgets and boner pills appear to keep nation's economy afloat

(KB) Los Angeles -   Americans' pockets don't appear to be as empty as their souls, which they are consistently hurling consumer products into as an effort to satisfy their juvenile thirst for material luxuries and status affirmation.
"It's striking behavior,"  says consumer analyst Connie Poon-Weippe,  "considering that ninety percent of Americans are affording their lifestyle via complicated hierarchies of household debt."
President Obama's administration has labeled the nation's current economic situation as a "dire financial recession coupled with a no-confidence investment outlook perhaps not seen since Leave it to Beaver was canceled."

Handicapped Lead Way in Public Space Use
City's urban spaces remain grossly unused save the disabled crowd

(KB) DES MOINES - In a new report issued by the Committee on Recreational Space Procurement, statistics reveal that Polk County parks and public spaces are only properly utilized by the disabled population.  Proper use of these spaces is the committee's gauge on community demand for public spaces in Polk County.
"Currently we're seeing gross under-use of our urban gardens here in Des Moines,"  says Marie Schopenskwat, a committee leader.  "Unfortunately, proper use of public space does not cover teenagers copulating in our fountains after dark or white-collar criminal activity in the public restrooms."   If it weren't for the handicapped, Schopenskwat says, the city's budget for public spaces would be terminated indefinitely.

LIFESTYLE

Ma and I came across some Indians.

It happened when we were looking to get on U.S. Highway 212 in Crow Agency, Montana.  U.S. Highway 212 runs continuously from Cooked City to Edina.   Some have called it "the Warrior Trail".  Some have called it the most beautiful route in America.  Some have called it "the highway".

Anmaalapammuua is the place where Crows mourned a war party that came home nearly vanquished.
Nearby, there now sits a laundromat called Ammaaiisshuuwuua.   This is the town of Crow Agency.
Near the laundromat, there's a spray-painted clapboard on the road that says "NDN Taco $4.20".

At the end of the block there is an IGA store.  My Ma was once told that IGA stands for Indian Grab Anything.  In a back lot down the road, sitting in a bunch of yellow grass, there is the Little Big Horn College.   We decided to turn around and get an NDN Taco.

The sister was behind a table that sat outside the side door of a house.  She welcomed us to come and eat.   Two brothers were sitting on a wooden picnic table in the yard.  It was a nice yard because it was well shaded by very large trees.  The trees were probably there way back when Custer got slain dead by some female warrior of the prairie.

Gathering her supplies, the young sister prepared us one NDN taco.  She had sent her brother to the IGA to get cheese.  Meanwhile, she piled tomatoes, cooked hamburger and sour cream on top of a fry bread.  My Ma and I asked the two gentlemen on the picnic table if they knew where the highway to Belle Fourche was.  Then the kid came back from IGA with a block of velveeta.
"That's not cheese!" the sister told him.
"It's all they had!" he said.

The gentlemen did not know of a highway to Belle Fourche.   I asked them if they knew where the 212 was.
"Oh, the highway!"  one said.
"The highway," said the other.  "You should go back on the interstate, then get off the interstate at the next exit.  That is the highway.  It is only across the river."  The Little Big Horn River.
